Director of Finance
in Kings Mountain, North Carolina.
As the
Director of Finance , you will be responsible for overseeing the audit, accounting, general ledger, and soft-count functions, ensuring that accurate financial information is provided to senior management for decision-making purposes. Minimum – Anticipated Maximum Base Salary: $130,000 - $175,000 / year What will you do?
Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and procedures across all shifts, and train team members on daily and weekly audit tasks Develop and implement audits by SICS, including marketing promotions, revenue streams, and operational changes Oversee timely completion of journal entries, reconciliations, and distribution of daily revenue reports; support month-end close processes Monitor financial reporting accuracy, loan covenant compliance, and construction loan disbursement procedures Manage regulatory reporting for the Catawba Nation Gaming Authority, CNGC, and federal and state agencies, including tax filings and NIGC quarterly worksheets Create and maintain audit review processes, develop new controls for emerging revenue sources, and ensure audit reports are prepared for internal and external stakeholders More about you
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance with previous casino experience is required; master's degree or CPA certification preferred Minimum of 10 years of experience at a Director of Finance level or casino finance management experience, with at least 5 years of personnel supervisory experience required Working knowledge of Title 31 and Bank Secrecy Act regulations, as well as US GAAP knowledge or technical accounting experience Financial reporting and analytics experience, as well as implementation of internal controls Must be at least 21 years of age with the ability to obtain a valid Catawba Gaming License Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and an understanding of finance, cage, and count room processes Working knowledge of ATI is preferred but not required Who we are
