We are looking for talent at all levels with motivation to embark on an exciting journey within the field of 3-phased UPS systems and related secure power technologies. Your starting point will be continuous development of recently released products as a part of the R&D organization, with a long-term plan to transition towards innovation. You will join a team of highly skilled engineers and collaborate closely with colleagues with different specialist backgrounds operating on various technologies such as microprocessors, soft cores, FPGA and SoC in an agile environment. You can relate to our innovation culture and deployment within R&D: learn fast, fail fast, monetize fast. Building relationships and developing internal and external partnerships is important. Your Key Responsibilities
Evaluating the architectures for the firmware for new features and solutions Defining firmware requirements for a requirements management tool and conducting feasibility studies Escalating architecture issues within the domain when needed Guardrailing the technical solutions for the firmware including the tools used for development Ensuring architecture documentation is in place with local and global teams, also with respect to the platform Cross-functional collaboration to ensure timely delivery of high-quality firmware releases Creating bridges between organizations and their architecture to help them see the big picture and deliver an integrated product landscape Qualifications and Experience
Understanding of firmware architecture in an embedded environment with ARM and FPGA Proficiency in C/C++ for embedded systems Knowledge of digital control systems Experience or knowledge of communication protocols, signal processing, and/or tool chains Experience with embedded Linux, GIT, VHDL, Python, or FPGA is advantageous Previous involvement in the development of innovative and groundbreaking digital products is advantageous Understanding of cybersecurity solutions for embedded systems (e.g., secure boot, cryptographic signing) Education
Bachelor’s degree (Master’s a plus) in computer science, electrical/electronic engineering, or equivalent Skills
Excellent communication, interpersonal and collaboration skills Ability to grow in a multicultural environment Proficiency in English Structured and organized way of work Experience
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience Experience in the domain of power conversion is a plus Travel
