About the Role

As a Construction Project Manager, you will manage the day-to-day operations of construction projects and lead a high-performing team. You will oversee planning, execution, and financial performance, aligning with company values: people, safety, integrity, innovation, and excellence.

Responsibilities

Manage and lead projects and project teams from qualification through estimate, pre-construction, mobilization, execution, and closeout. Ensure all project and contractual requirements are met and performed safely and professionally within budgets and timelines. Establish project execution plans and provide scheduling and coordination for each project. Collaborate with the Superintendent and field team to meet schedules. Identify project risks and issues; develop and execute recovery action plans. Manage project financials, review invoices, track budget variance, job cost, productivity, and report on financial performance. Negotiate change orders. Act as the primary contact with customers and end-user owners. Manage and develop customer and subcontractor relationships. Source and qualify new opportunities. Develop and manage a high-performance team; provide mentorship and training to ensure growth and development.

Receives assignments in the form of objectives and goals; directs employees according to policies and management guidance; administers company policies affecting subordinates. Complexity:

Works on issues requiring analysis of relevant factors; exercises judgment within established procedures. Discretion:

Erroneous decisions or delays can affect project schedules.

About You

You possess dynamic leadership to influence and drive positive outcomes. You have thorough knowledge of estimating, project cost accounting, scheduling, procurement, productivity tracking, and reporting for electrical construction projects. Experience with union workforces, labor rate calculations, and collective bargaining is a plus. You have a track record of leading teams and developing employees to reach their potential.

Minimum Qualifications

Education:

High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Business, Engineering, or similar preferred. Licensure/Certifications:

None required. Experience:

Five (5) years of experience in electrical construction or related leadership roles managing multi-million-dollar projects; five (5) years of experience leading people and electrical construction projects in commercial, utility, alternative energy, or data center markets. Driving Record:

Valid state-issued driver’s license and satisfactory driving record. *Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States. This position is not eligible for sponsorship.
