Candidates should have experience with patent drafting and prosecution and have the necessary skills to work on matters in most areas of Biotechnology and related life sciences. A Ph.D. in Biotechnology or related discipline and registration with the USPTO is required. Work experience with pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, or general life science patent matters is beneficial. Responsibilities
Contribute to patent drafting and prosecution for matters in biotechnology and related life sciences. Collaborate with colleagues and clients, communicate effectively, and support a dynamic IP practice in a team environment. Qualifications
Ph.D. in Biotechnology or a related discipline Registration with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) J.D. from an accredited law school with admission to at least one state bar Experience in patent drafting and prosecution, with biotechnology or life sciences focus Preferred/Beneficial Experience
Work experience with pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, or general life science patent matters About the Employer
