Autonomous vehicles are central to a rapidly changing mobility landscape. Transdev is developing and deploying AV solutions to help solve mobility challenges for cities, towns, and communities in North America and around the world. Benefits
Competitive compensation package of minimum $87,360 – maximum $99,840
Vacation: minimum of two weeks

Key Responsibilities
Maintain Transdev’s high standard of safety, inside and outside of the vehicle
Operate with safety as the primary goal
Be the deputy for technology by communicating courteously with management, engineers, and the public
Respond to system emergencies; investigate and complete accident reports, incidents, and customer complaints
Public/customer facing management and leadership of hourly workforce
Field work and on-the-road operations with the workforce to dispatch, respond, and troubleshoot
Strategic planning and forecasting to meet client demands
Translate TAS and client deliverables, KPI and metrics to daily performance
Assist team members with payroll, interpersonal issues, and career development
Communicate announcements to the team and lead safety-focused debriefs
Support the Client’s operations leadership team in daily dispatch operations, including mission assignment and meetings
Coordinate, monitor, and supervise subordinates; inform other management personnel of operational/personnel issues and offer resolution ideas
Ensure compliance with global process standards and participate in continuous improvement initiatives
Respond to service problems; investigate unsafe locations/situations and implement changes to resolve them
Develop and schedule program work plans with Client’s staff; oversee daily operations and determine priorities
Maintain a high degree of confidentiality of information
Apply policies, procedures, and standards; take personal responsibility for safety during testing
All other duties as required
Required Education and Experience
High School Diploma or GED
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university preferred or 2+ years of Operations experience in leading teams
Degree in Engineering, Operations, or related field - preferred
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs)
Proficiency with touchscreen smartphones (Android preferred but not required)
Ability to generate reports and schedules on a computer
Ability to read, understand, and interpret system operating rules, regulations, policies, phases and routes
Good written and oral communication skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to organize work efficiently
Awareness and use of Operational Excellence tools and techniques
Ability to communicate effectively to a large group of drivers
Experience with performance metrics and process improvement
Ability to work for different managers; proven track record of meeting or exceeding department goals
Demonstrated problem solving and analytical skills
Flexible scheduling: able to work early mornings, evenings, and/or weekends
Self-starter, good judgment, and ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-stress environments
Punctual, reliable, and a team player
Travel up to 20% of the time
Available to be on call and responsive for 24/7 operations
Physical Requirements
Regularly stand, walk, use hands to manipulate, reach with arms, speak and hear
Must be able to work outdoors in inclement weather
Frequently sit; occasionally climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, or smell
Occasionally lift up to 45 pounds
May work in extreme heat/cold, damp environments with moderate noise
Remain standing and walking for up to 10 hours per shift; may work in an office or cubicle with computer use
Pre-Employment Requirements
Must be 21 years old
Pre-employment drug screen and background check; safety-sensitive positions may require physical screening
Drug-free workplace; random drug screening may be required
Background checks as permitted by state law; qualified applicants with criminal histories may be considered
Employees must maintain an acceptable driving record; records monitored as required by local law
Ability to qualify for an Autonomous Vehicle Tester (AVT) license where required
