Maintain Transdev’s high standard of safety, inside and outside of the vehicle Operate with safety as the primary goal Communicate courteously with management, engineers, and the public; act as the deputy for technology Respond to system emergencies; investigate and complete accident reports, incidents, and customer complaints Public/customer facing management of hourly workforce Field work and on-the-road operations; dispatch, respond, and troubleshoot Strategic planning and forecasting to meet client demands Translate TAS and client deliverables, KPI and metrics to daily performance Assist team members with payroll, interpersonal issues, and career development Communicate announcements to the team and lead safety-focused debriefs Support client operations leadership in daily dispatch management, including mission assignment and stakeholder communication Coordinate, monitor, and supervise subordinates; relay issues and offer resolution ideas Ensure compliance with global process standards and participate in continuous improvement initiatives Respond to service problems; investigate unsafe locations/situations and recommend changes Develop and schedule program work plans; oversee daily operations and determine priorities Maintain confidentiality of information Apply policies, procedures, and standards; ensure safety during testing Perform other duties as required Required Education And Experience
High School Diploma or GED Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university preferred or 2+ years of operations experience leading teams Degree in Engineering, Operations, or related field preferred Required Knowledge Skills And Abilities (KSAs)
Proficiency with touchscreen smartphones (Android preferred) Ability to generate reports and schedules on a computer Ability to read, understand, and interpret system operating rules, regulations, policies, phases, and routes Good written and oral communication skills Strong attention to detail and ability to organize work efficiently Willingness to use Operational Excellence tools and techniques Ability to communicate to a large group of drivers Experience with performance metrics and process improvement Ability to work for different managers; proven track record of meeting goals Demonstrated problem solving and analytical skills Flexible shifts including early mornings, evenings, and/or weekends; on-call readiness for 24/7 operations Self-starter with good judgment in fast-paced environments Punctual, reliable, and a team player Travel up to 20% Available to be on call and responsive for 24/7 operations Physical Requirements
Regularly stand, walk, use hands, reach with hands and arms, talk and hear Ability to work outdoors in inclement weather Frequently sit; occasionally climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl Occasionally lift up to 45 pounds Work in extreme heat/cold, in damp environments with moderate noise; long hours Pre-Employment Requirements
