This leadership position demands a hospitality professional who combines operational expertise with people-focused leadership – from managing guest satisfaction and team development to ensuring quality standards that exceed expectations. Come work and play at Seattle’s home mountain, The Summit at Snoqualmie. Located an hour from Seattle, at the junction where the Pacific Crest Trail crosses Interstate 90. With summer activities ramping up with spectacular Mountain Biking trails and Scenic Lift Rides, there is a lot to do all year long.

Responsibilities

Job duties may include, but are not limited to: Lead comprehensive food and beverage operations by overseeing daily service delivery, quality control, and guest satisfaction while ensuring consistent excellence across all operational areas. Drive team leadership and development by recruiting, training, coaching, and managing front-of-house and back-of-house staff while building a cohesive team culture focused on hospitality excellence. Execute operational management by coordinating scheduling, inventory control, cost management, and service standards while maintaining efficiency and profitability targets. Champion guest experience excellence by monitoring satisfaction levels, addressing concerns promptly, and implementing service improvements that enhance dining experiences and encourage repeat visits. Master financial operations by managing budgets, controlling costs, analyzing performance metrics, and implementing strategies that optimize revenue while maintaining quality standards. Ensure regulatory compliance by maintaining food safety protocols, health department standards, and operational procedures that meet or exceed industry requirements. Coordinate special events and group dining experiences by planning logistics, managing resources, and delivering exceptional service that creates memorable occasions.

Qualifications

What we are looking for: Master hospitality operations through proven management experience in restaurants, resorts, or high-volume food service environments with demonstrated leadership success. Demonstrate exceptional team leadership abilities by inspiring, coaching, and developing staff while maintaining high performance standards and positive workplace culture. Excel in operational management including scheduling, inventory control, cost management, and quality assurance with measurable results in previous management roles. Champion guest satisfaction through proven experience in hospitality service delivery, problem resolution, and relationship building that creates loyal customers. Master multilevel communication and interpersonal skills, building meaningful relationships with team members, guests, vendors, and management while maintaining professional excellence. Possess comprehensive knowledge of food safety regulations, health department standards, and industry best practices with current certifications preferred. Demonstrate financial acumen in budget management, cost control, and revenue optimization with ability to analyze performance metrics and implement improvement strategies. Excel in fast-paced, high-pressure environments while maintaining composure, quality standards, and team morale during peak service periods. Obtain and maintain Washington State Food Worker Card certification and Food Manager Certification to ensure the highest standards of food safety leadership. Wage and Benefits

The wage for this position is: $28.00 - $31.35/hr + Tips This is a non-benefited role. All individuals may contribute to the 401(k). An employee must work 1,000 hours in a calendar year to qualify for the discretionary match (there is a 2 year vesting cliff). All individuals accrue sick time at 1 hour per 40 hours worked to a maximum of 64 hours per year. All Team Members may participate in our Ally Health benefit. It gives fast and easy access to Telemedicine and Mental Health appointments. It covers all family members and there are no copays or deductibles. It is a $4 deduction each week.
