Step into an essential Food + Beverage Expeditor role where you'll be the conductor of culinary harmony, coordinating seamless communication between kitchen and service teams to deliver exceptional mountain dining experiences. As our culinary operations specialist, you'll ensure every dish meets our exacting standards while maintaining the perfect timing that transforms great food into extraordinary guest experiences.

Come work and play at Seattle's home mountain, the Summit at Snoqualmie. Located an hour from Seattle, at the junction where the Pacific Crest Trail crosses Interstate 90. With summer activities ramping up with spectacular Mountain Biking trails and Scenic Lift Rides, there is a lot to do all year long.

Responsibilities

Job duties may include, but are not limited to:

Orchestrate seamless kitchen-to-service coordination by managing the flow of food orders, ensuring proper timing, and maintaining communication between kitchen staff and servers during all service periods. Execute comprehensive quality control by inspecting every dish for presentation standards, temperature requirements, and recipe specifications before release to dining room service. Coordinate order management and ticket organization by prioritizing tickets, managing timing sequences, and ensuring accurate order completion that meets guest expectations. Facilitate clear communication channels between front-of-house and back-of-house teams by relaying special requests, dietary restrictions, and service modifications efficiently and accurately. Maintain presentation excellence by ensuring proper plate presentation, garnish placement, and visual appeal that reflects our commitment to culinary artistry. Support kitchen operations by assisting with food preparation, ingredient organization, and station setup during peak service periods as needed. Qualifications

What we are looking for:

Master multilevel communication excellence in English, both verbal and written, facilitating clear interactions between kitchen staff, servers, and management while maintaining professional standards under pressure. Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail and quality control abilities with keen eye for presentation standards, food safety requirements, and recipe accuracy. Excel in fast-paced coordination and multitasking, managing multiple orders simultaneously while maintaining timing precision and quality standards during high-volume service periods. Possess comprehensive knowledge of food safety protocols, temperature requirements, and sanitation standards essential for expediting operations and guest safety. Champion teamwork and collaboration excellence by supporting both kitchen and service teams while maintaining positive communication and workflow efficiency. Display strong organizational skills and time management abilities to prioritize tasks, manage order flow, and coordinate complex service sequences effectively. Maintain composure and professionalism during high-pressure service periods while ensuring consistent quality and timing standards. Obtain and maintain Washington State Food Worker Card certification to ensure the highest standards of food safety and public health protection in all culinary operations. Wage and Benefit Info:

The wage for this positions is: $21.50 - $24.10/hr + Tips

This is a non-benefited role.

All individuals may contribute to the 401(k). An employee must work 1,000 hours in a calendar year to qualify for the discretionary match (there is a 2 year vesting cliff).

All individuals accrue sick time at 1 hour per 40 hours worked to a maximum of 64 hours per year.

All Team Members may participate in our Ally Heath benefit. It gives fast and easy access to Telemedicine and Mental Health appointments. It covers all family members and there are no copays or deductibles. It is a $4 deduction each week.
