The Associate Director of the Florida Center for Nursing (FCN), headquartered within the University of South Florida College of Nursing (USF-CON), supports the Executive Director in advancing the mission of the FCN to address nursing workforce challenges through data-driven policy, education, and innovation. This faculty member plays a critical role in strategic program development, evaluation, and dissemination of initiatives that impact nursing education, practice, and professional development across Florida. This role exceeds traditional academic responsibilities and requires a dynamic nurse leader with a strong background in academia, nursing professional development, fiscal oversight, and scholarly dissemination. The role includes significant travel (~50%, primarily in-state) to represent FCN at conferences, community meetings, and events. Responsibilities
Support the Executive Director in advancing the FCN mission through data-driven policy, education, and innovation. Contribute to strategic program development, evaluation, and dissemination of initiatives affecting nursing education, practice, and professional development across Florida. Represent FCN at conferences, community meetings, and events (approximately 50% travel, primarily in-state). Qualifications
Dynamic nurse leader with a strong background in academia. Experience in nursing professional development. Fiscal oversight experience. Scholarly dissemination expertise.
