Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree
in Finance, IT, or related field (MBA/Master’s preferred).
3+ years’ experience
in IT Finance with strong budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis background.
Proficiency in
Microsoft Excel
(required), with strong MS Office skills.
Experience with corporate systems such as
SAP, Oracle, ServiceNow, Power BI .
Familiarity with
ITFM/TBM concepts ; Apptio experience highly desirable.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to
manage ambiguity, prioritize competing demands, and meet deadlines .
Global organizational experience preferred.
Work Type:
Full-time, Hybrid (3 days in office)
Compensation:
Open – up to $140K for the right candidate (Base salary range per company: $77,400 – $110,300, with potential flexibility)
About the Role Detail-oriented
IT Budget and Planning Analyst
to join the IT Finance Management (ITFM) team. This role is critical to driving financial excellence by managing IT spend, budgeting, forecasting, and ensuring cost transparency across a global technology portfolio.
This position leans more toward
Finance
than pure IT and is ideal for candidates with strong
budgeting, forecasting, project financials, expenses, and accruals experience . Experience with IT Financial Management (ITFM) or Technology Business Management (TBM) tools is a plus —
Apptio preferred but not required .
Key Responsibilities
Manage
annual budgeting
and
monthly forecast cycles
for $80M+ global IT spend.
Handle
IT month-end close
activities: accruals, reporting, variance analysis, invoice/PO management, expense review.
Provide financial support to IT leaders ensuring
accuracy and accountability
of spend.
Oversee
project-level financials
ensuring alignment with budget/forecast.
Support financial models including
scenario planning, cost optimization, multi-year forecasting, benchmarking, metrics .
Document and enforce ITFM guidelines, drive compliance and financial governance.
Partner with global stakeholders across all organizational levels.
Contribute to
special projects, acquisition support, and evolving IT finance initiatives .
