Associate Director - Training & Field Execution Apply prior to the end date: October 10th, 2025

What you’ll do This position will be a mobile worker with up to 25% travel. As the Associate Director - Training and Field Execution, you will lead a team of people leaders responsible for executing the strategic vision & plans you develop centered around training, communications, and execution of strategic initiatives in the field for the Value Indirect organization. Value Indirect supports the Total Wireless Exclusive Retail channel as well as the Authorized Retailer channel supporting Simple Mobile and Verizon Prepaid brands.

Build the strategic framework of these organizations and drive the functional leaders focused on Training, Communications, and Execution to implement the playbook you’ve developed.

Create & delivering training, developing resources, drafting & delivering communications, and ensuring front line sales associates deliver a positive overall customer experience in Value Indirect locations.

Lead the Field Implementation and Execution team, developing key strategic implementation & execution plans associated with product, service, and promotional launches within Value Indirect.

Partner with HQ and Field teams to align execution and implementation strategies across the Total Wireless, Verizon Prepaid, and Simple Mobile brands.

Manage resources, prioritization, and create efficient ways of working across the organization.

Influence Verizon Value Indirect sales results through knowledge of the prepaid industry and indirect agent relationships; lead training & sales organizations.

The primary responsibilities of this position include:

Build & execute on a strategic framework centered around sales & experience excellence in Value Indirect physical distribution.

Lead a team of people leaders responsible for the execution of training, resources, communications, implementation, and customer experience strategy in Verizon Value Indirect channel.

Lead and manage cross functional programs & projects from initiation to delivery, ensuring alignment with channel priorities & sales goals.

Build and deliver strategic plans driving execution in the field centered around Value Indirect strategic initiatives and levers.

Scope, define, and lead development of implementation plans, with end-to-end ownership of multiple complex projects and driving business priorities with limited oversight and direction.

Effectively and proactively communicate project updates verbally and in writing to stakeholders, team members, and leadership to ensure all projects are aligned with established strategy.

Develop credibility as a strong business partner and build relationships with key stakeholders.

Lead and oversee post mortem reviews of achievements vs. strategic plans. Identify areas of improvement to drive better results.

You are able to inspire, engage, and motivate cross functional stakeholders to successfully execute key initiatives and deliver outstanding performance. You can create engaging presentations that tell a clear story highlighting plans and expected results, and can communicate effectively across different levels of the organization. You have the ability to self-govern, are confident in your abilities, but are open-minded and actively absorb new perspectives that can be integrated into the holistic plan.

You’ll need to have:

Bachelor's degree or six or more years of work experience.

Eight or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through one or a combination of work and/or military experience, or specialized training.

High proficiency levels of Google Workspace knowledge with a particular command of Slides/Powerpoint design and creation.

Excellent presentation skills including creating content and experience in presenting information to small and large groups from front line to executive-level.

Ability to work in a cross-functional team environment and manage stakeholder expectations with changing and evolving roles and responsibilities.

Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Willingness to travel up to approximately up to 25%.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.

Experience with program and/or project management.

Experience in a role that involves strategy development and execution planning

Ability to manage multiple projects, learn quickly, prioritize and work under pressure, adapt to a rapidly changing environment, and possess strong attention to detail.

Experience working with external partners and/or vendors.

Experience in the Verizon Value segment and/or Indirect Sales channel.

Experience building new enablement tools/programs.

Strong written and verbal communication and organizational skills, with proven ability to successfully communicate ideas and recommendations to all organizational levels.

Experience driving sales, productivity, performance and results with the ability to influence without direct authority.

Where you’ll be working In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes working from home and a minimum of three days per week in the office, which will be set by your manager. Employees are responsible for maintaining compliance with hybrid work policies.

The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part-time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.The annual salary range for the location(s) listed on this job requisition based on a full-time schedule is: $103,000.00 - $198,000.00.The annual salary range for the Colorado location(s) listed on this job requisition based on a full-time schedule is: $113,500.00 - $198,000.00.The annual salary range for the Illinois location(s) listed on this job requisition based on a full-time schedule is: $113,500.00 - $198,000.00.The annual salary range for the New York location(s) listed on this job requisition based on a full-time schedule is: $113,500.00 - $198,000.00.
