Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced

Learning & Development Manager

to design, implement, and lead impactful training programs that drive employee growth and organizational performance. This is a permanent opportunity with a hybrid schedule based near Norwood, MA. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in training strategy, LMS administration, and leadership development—along with a passion for building a culture of continuous learning across all levels of the business. Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute a comprehensive L&D strategy, incorporating online, classroom, and on-the-job learning.

Partner with leadership and department managers to identify training needs and build solutions that enhance employee skills, engagement, and career progression.

Serve as the

LMS subject matter expert , overseeing administration, reporting, and content creation.

Design, upload, and manage training modules, certifications, and learning paths tailored for both hourly and management-level employees.

Measure training effectiveness through reporting and analytics, ensuring alignment with business goals and KPIs.

Lead the creation and rollout of onboarding, leadership development, compliance, and operational training programs.

Coach and manage a team of training specialists to ensure consistency and high-quality delivery.

Manage training budgets, vendor relationships, and project timelines.

Champion a culture of growth, accountability, and continuous improvement across the organization.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required.

3+ years of L&D experience

within the retail, restaurant, or hospitality industry.

Proven ability to design, implement, and facilitate training programs for employees and managers.

Hands-on LMS experience, including content development, administration, and reporting.

Strong business acumen with a focus on performance improvement and results.

Excellent communication, facilitation, and leadership skills.
