The

Learning & Development Manager

is a strategic role responsible for the planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of all training programs across the organization. This position is the primary driver for building content and programs that directly align with bank strategy and contribute to employee development and organizational goals. The role requires collaboration across departments, expert content design, and a strong focus on regulatory adherence within the financial services environment. Responsibilities

Strategic Content Development: Building and developing training content and programs to align with bank strategy. Needs Assessment: Collaborate with department managers and Human Capital to identify current and future training needs based on performance gaps, new initiatives, and organizational changes. Instructional Design & Delivery: Create engaging and effective training content using various methodologies, including e-learning modules, instructor-led training, on-the-job training, and workshops. Facilitate and deliver programs, both in-person and virtually. Program Management: Plan and organize training sessions, manage resource allocation, and ensure effective communication to participants. Evaluation & Reporting: Develop and implement evaluation methods to assess the effectiveness of programs. Analyze data, report on training outcomes, and identify areas for improvement. Record Keeping & Compliance: Maintain accurate and up-to-date training records (attendance, completion, evaluations) using the Learning Management System (LMS). Ensure all training programs adhere to relevant regulations and company policies. SME Partnership: Work closely with internal Subject-Matter Experts to guarantee the accuracy and relevance of financial and operational content. Team Leadership (if applicable): Provide guidance, coaching, and support to a team of trainers or training specialists and assist in managing the L&D budget. Essential Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Experience: 7+ years designing, developing, and delivering training programs. Previous experience in banking is a plus given the regulatory environment. L&D Expertise: Strong knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies. Proficiency in learning technologies and e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate is preferred). Advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially with Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUPs). Must be bilingual in both English and Spanish, with the ability to fluently speak, understand, read, and write both languages. Details
