Overview
Assistant Professor of Anthropology (Linguistic Anthropology) in the Department of Anthropology at William & Mary, a public university in Virginia, seeks applications for a tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level in linguistic anthropology. The applicant is expected to establish and maintain a vibrant research program that inspires a highly motivated undergraduate student body as well as Master’s and Ph.D. students. Responsibilities
Teach two courses per semester, including compelling introductory and thematic undergraduate courses in linguistic anthropology serving general education and major requirements. Contribute courses to the Native Studies minor. Teach upper-division and graduate courses in the area(s) of specialization. Contribute to the work of the American Indian Research Center (AIRC). Engage in scholarly research, supervise student researchers, and participate in department and university service. Application Process
