Support efforts to diversify the agency portfolio and provide financial frameworks for capital projects and partnerships. Update and implement financial policies and internal controls. Mentor the Finance Director and develop administrative staff. Optimize systems such as Bill.com, Divvy, QuickBooks/Intacct; collaborate on dashboards for real-time decision-making. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree required; MBA, CPA, or advanced degree preferred. 7–10 years of progressive financial leadership experience, ideally in nonprofit or healthcare. Proven ability to manage both hands-on accounting and executive-level strategy. Track record in grants management and government contract compliance. Experience with HR/payroll administration preferred. Technology savvy with accounting and reporting systems (Bill.com, Divvy, QuickBooks/Intacct). Familiarity with Children’s Services Fund billing a plus. Strong communicator with ability to translate financial concepts for non-financial colleagues. Commitment to equity, accountability, and mission-driven leadership. Why Join Us? The Core Collective at St. Vincent offers a full range of competitive benefits for all full time employees. This is a unique opportunity for a CFO who thrives in a small-to-mid size, high-impact agency. You’ll play a critical role in financial leadership while also staying close to the daily work that keeps an agency thriving.
