ZS is seeking an Industry Marketing Sr. Lead for B2B SaaS platform to define and drive the full GTM marketing strategy for the Emerging Pharma / Biopharma / Biotech industry for ZS’s SaaS platform, ZAIDYN.
This is a highly strategic role: the Industry Sr. Lead will own the marketing plan for the industry, pipeline goals and contribution, and report on marketing performance, while partnering closely with sales, product marketing, customer success, and other areas in marketing to bring it to life.
You will act as the audience owner for the industry for ZAIDYN: developing deep understanding of customer needs, shaping industry-specific narratives, and ensuring marketing delivers measurable business outcomes. You will lead strategy and oversee campaign execution, holding accountability for both ZAIDYN messaging and marketing contribution to pipeline and to revenue.
This is a high-visibility role which requires a strong interpersonal and team skills as well as a balance of strategic leadership and tactical execution. You will exhibit strong external presence with industry stakeholders, and an ability to influence across the organization. You will ensure that ZS’s products and platforms resonate with the industry, the target audience (accounts and personas) to increase ZS’s and ZAIDYN’s visibility, brand equity and trust, build pipeline that converts into revenue.
What You’ll Do:
Develop the industry GTM strategy and plan, aligned with revenue and pipeline goals. Define priorities and ensure cross-functional alignment with other areas of marketing, product management, customer success, revops and partners. Own marketing-sourced and influenced pipeline contribution for the industry; lead regular performance reviews. Forecast pipeline contribution and provide insights to inform investment decisions. Adapt product-level positioning into industry-specific narratives, packages, and value propositions. Ensure messaging reflects industry trends, competitive landscape, and buyer needs. Shape content strategy that reinforces ZS’s product and platforms’ unique positioning statements tailored to the industry-specific audiences. Partner with other marketing colleagues to deliver and execute industry-specific campaigns (digital, events, ABM plays, etc.). Lead industry-specific field and community initiatives such as ZS hosted and industry events, lunch & learns, and executive roundtables, ensuring they drive impact, memorable engagement and influence pipeline. Own audience-specific KPIs, including lead generation, conversion, and pipeline performance and forecasting. Analyze campaign results, provide forecasts, and drive continuous optimization. Lead account prioritization and engagement strategy for the industry in partnership with sales and SDRs. Support the sales team by leveraging CRM to monitor lead engagement, identify opportunities and ensure seamless follow-up for pipeline growth. Provide sales with industry-specific enablement tools (briefs, talk tracks, customer stories). Create closed-loop feedback processes to refine industry strategy based on sales insights. Serve as the voice of the industry: engage directly with customers and prospects, conduct win/loss analysis, and track market trends. Monitor competitor activity in the industry and translate insights into GTM strategy. Build relationships with industry influencers to validate and evolve messaging. What You’ll Bring:
10-12+ years of B2B SaaS marketing experience in life sciences (pharma/biopharma/biotech). Strong understanding of the US emerging/mid-size pharma landscape: customers, vendors and trends. Proven ability to translate positioning and product strategy into impactful industry narratives and programs. Experience building integrated GTM strategies, marketing plans and pipeline-driving campaigns. Strong storytelling and content skills; able to shape executive-ready narratives and collateral. Expertise in demand generation, ABM, and campaign measurement. Comfort working cross-functionally in a matrixed environment, influencing without direct authority. Excellent relationship-building and communication skills, able to engage senior stakeholders internally and externally. Based in the United States; able to travel domestically and internationally as needed for events, collaboration and for meeting customers. Client-first mentality. Intense work ethic.
