Material Handler
Pay:$18 per hour Employment Type: [Temp-to-Hire or Contract - insert if known] Location: Westborough, MA
Eastridge Workforce Solutions, a leading provider of workforce management solutions, is seeking reliable and detail-oriented Material Handlers to support production operations for one of our valued clients. This is a great opportunity to work in a collaborative and dynamic team environment with room to grow.
Job Summary:
The Material Handler will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to the assembly and handling of electrical and mechanical components. Candidates must be able to follow detailed instructions and demonstrate proficiency with hand and power tools.
Key Responsibilities:
Assemble mechanical and electrical products according to written instructions, drawings, and standardized procedures. Follow Engineering Process Records (EPRs) and Bill of Materials (BOMs) to execute work accurately. Build and wire electrical panels, boxes, and mechanical assemblies. Utilize hand and power tools to complete assembly tasks safely and efficiently. Support production team operations and work effectively in groups of 2-8 people. Ensure all work meets quality standards and follows safety protocols. Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required; technical school training is a plus. 6 months to 1 year of related experience in manufacturing, assembly, or material handling. Ability to read and follow work instructions, schematics, or blueprints (preferred). Good hand-eye coordination and mechanical aptitude. Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with hand and power tools. Work Environment:
Approximately 90% of work is performed in a precision, light industrial production area. Remaining time may be spent in an office or warehouse environment. Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift items as needed
