Eastridge Workforce Solutions is hiring a Quality Inspector for a privately held company specializing in precision electro-mechanical assemblies. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to high-quality production in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Job Summary
The Quality Inspector is responsible for conducting inspections throughout the manufacturing process-including First Article, in-process, and final inspections. The role ensures that products meet internal quality standards and customer specifications through detailed inspection, documentation, and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
Perform inspections on electro-mechanical assemblies at multiple stages of production Conduct First Article Inspections (FAIs) in accordance with established protocols Use visual, mechanical, and electronic tools to verify conformance to engineering specifications Document all inspection results and deviations with clarity and accuracy Identify non-conforming materials and complete proper reporting Collaborate with engineering and production teams to address quality concerns Maintain quality records and support audits as needed Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of inspection experience in an electro-mechanical manufacturing environment Ability to read and interpret assembly blueprints, schematics, and bills of materials Proficient in the use of inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, multimeters, scales, feeler gauges, and pin gauges Solid understanding of First Article Inspection (FAI) processes Familiarity with IPC-A-620 workmanship standards is preferred Knowledge of quality inspection reporting and documentation standards Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Effective verbal and written communication skills Working Environment
Approximately 90% of work is performed in a precision, light-industrial production area Remaining time may be spent in office or warehouse environments Requires the ability to sit, stand, and move between inspection areas for extended periods
