LHH is partnered with a national healthcare organization to identify a Front Office Receptionist to support multiple medical clinics within North County San Diego. Locations may include Carlsbad, Oceanside, Vista, San Marcos, Escondido, and Rancho Bernardo.
This is a long-term temporary position that will be extended based on performance and reliability. There is opportunity to go permanent as positions become available. This is a great opportunity to break into the medical industry and gain immediate exposure to multiple areas of healthcare.
Responsibilities: - Greeting patients and faculty as they enter the facility - Completing patient check-in and check-out procedures - Scheduling appointments over the phone and in-office - Collecting insurance information and identification cards - Answering incoming calls on a multi-line phone system - Communicating with patients, doctors, nurses, and other staff members - Reviewing, organizing, and filing paper and electronic medical records - Supporting with clerical needs such as data entry and printing/faxing/scanning - Providing a high-level of customer service while working in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications: - At least two years of customer service experience - Strong communication skills - Reliable transportation
Schedule: 40 hour per week, 5 days, 8-hour shifts Must be available between 6:30am - 10:30pm Weekends Required
Pay Rate: $24 per hour
Location: North County San Diego (Carlsbad, Oceanside, Vista, San Marcos, Escondido, and Rancho Bernardo)
