Join our team as a Customer Service Specialist, where your role will be pivotal in assisting both wholesale and retail customers with their needs. You will engage with customers to understand their inquiries about Sherwin-Williams products and provide informed recommendations for the best solutions. Your primary goal is to ensure customer satisfaction while meeting our store's sales objectives. This position also involves resolving any customer concerns swiftly and keeping up to date with our product offerings. You will be responsible for maintaining the high standards of store presentation and product quality. As part of your duties, you will work directly with customers, handle cash and payment methods, and oversee various valuable store items. To ensure a safe environment for our customers and staff, a review of criminal history will be conducted. The selected candidate will work at Store #1566, located at: 4176 Lakeville Rd, Geneseo, NY 14454, with occasional assignments at other nearby stores. Key Responsibilities: Deliver exceptional customer service through effective sales techniques. Assist customers in person or over the phone, assessing their needs and suggesting appropriate products and services. Build and maintain productive relationships with wholesale and retail customers. Efficiently process sales transactions according to company policies. Meet and exceed sales goals consistently. Maintain accurate work order files and product formulas. Retrieve merchandise from sales floor or warehouse as needed. Tint and mix products to meet customer specifications. Organize shelves and product displays attractively. Ensure cleanliness of store equipment. Assist with loading and unloading of deliveries. Support deliveries when required. Keep assigned areas well-stocked and appealing. Stay knowledgeable about product offerings and available options. Follow inventory control processes diligently. Propose ideas to boost sales. Minimum Requirements: Must be at least eighteen (18) years old. Must have legal authorization to work in the United States without future sponsorship. Proficient in reading, writing, and communicating in English and Spanish. Possess a valid, unrestricted Driver's License. Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. occasionally, with or without reasonable accommodation. Willing to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends. If currently working at Sherwin-Williams, you must have a satisfactory performance review rating. Completion of all required eLearning courses if internal to Sherwin-Williams. Preferred Qualifications: High School diploma or GED equivalent. Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a delivery, retail, or customer service role. Experience selling paint and related products. Familiarity with tinting and mixing equipment is a plus.
