SmartTalent is looking to a hire Client Services Coordinator for multinational logistics in Auburn, WA. Ideal candidate has strong experience in supply chain coordination or freight forwarding and previous experience in commodities industry (details below).

SCHEDULE:

Monday - Friday, 7am - 3:30pm

PAY : $28

Summary/Objective:

This position serves as the main point of contact for assigned clients, managing and tracking the movement of inbound and outbound containers, ensuring timely updates, accurate documentation, and smooth coordination with all parties involved.

Job Duties:

• Receive instructions for each assigned client with an agreed upon tariff/rate/commodity.

• Enter Client/tariff/commodity information in IMS and PMS.

• Update customer profiles as needed on a quarterly basis.

• Work with customs brokers and customs to assist in the release of cargo.

• Assist with releases from other government agencies such as FDA, USDA, EAR, AES, etc.

• Issue instructions for picking up containers to the trucking company, notating the last free day and update IMS or PMS system.

• Coordinates deliveries with internal and external truckers.

• Receive updates from trucking operations on progress of picking up containers, and communicate any problems with equipment, free time or any other problems.

• Maintain contact with clients at all times providing updates when needed.

• Billing/invoicing is performed timely and sent to accounting.

• Follow up to ensure that warehouses and trans loading services have been performed.

• Track and trace import and export shipments for your assigned clients.

• Process general drayage and accessorial billing (chassis, detention, demurrage, per diem, etc.)

• Process freight forwarding documentation for export shipments (bills of lading, country of origin, phytosanitary certificates, etc.)

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Basic math, reading, and computer skills.

• Ability to solve problems and apply critical thinking.

• Preferred IMS or PMS systems

• Some experience with logistics software or CRM systems is a plus.

• Comfortable communicating with clients, truckers, customs brokers, and warehouses.

• Able to work independently under minimal supervision

• Organized and detail-oriented
