Sigma Inc. is seeking a professional and detail-oriented
Receptionist
to support the
Board of Registration in Medicine
in Wakefield, MA. This onsite role requires strong organizational and communication skills, as you will serve as the first point of contact for visitors, staff, and incoming calls while handling administrative office support tasks.
Key Responsibilities Manage the
main telephone line
by answering, screening, and transferring calls to the appropriate extensions. Receive, sort, and process
incoming and outgoing mail
for office staff. Greet and
guide visitors
to meeting rooms or redirect them to other locations for support. Issue and manage
building access badges , including staff ID photos, temporary/daily visitor badges, and reconciliation of one-day badges. Assist consumers with
document drop-offs
(e.g., Verifications, Certificate of Regulatory Board Forms, Subpoenas). Provide access to approved vendors (e.g., vending machine services, paper delivery, recycling vendors). Prepare documents for
scanning and processing
from various units as time permits. Restock paper in
multifunction devices
and ensure office supplies are organized and readily available. • Requirements
Prior
front desk, receptionist, or office support experience . Strong
customer service skills
with a professional demeanor. Ability to handle
multiple administrative tasks
accurately and efficiently. Comfortable working in an
onsite office environment
and interacting with staff, vendors, and visitors.
