Position Overview
We are seeking a
Senior Data Architect
to lead the
data strategy and architecture discovery
for a large-scale
MarTech transformation . This role will design the
customer data foundation , ensure seamless integration across marketing platforms, and enable advanced personalization and analytics. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in
customer 360 ,
CDP activation ,
data governance , and
real-time marketing use cases
across platforms such as
Snowflake ,
ActionIQ ,
Adobe Experience Cloud ,
Salesforce Marketing Cloud , and
Medallia .
Key Responsibilities
Data Architecture & Strategy
Lead
current-state data assessment
and define the
future-state enterprise data architecture
for marketing and engagement data.
Develop
data models and schemas
for
Customer 360 ,
Golden Record , identity resolution, and consent management.
Establish enterprise
data governance frameworks , metadata standards, and
data quality rules
to support marketing and personalization.
Recommend best practices for
data privacy
(GDPR, CCPA) and PII handling across multiple systems.
Data Platform Design
Architect the
Snowflake-based marketing data lake
optimizing for scalability, performance, and cost.
Define
data ingestion, transformation, and enrichment patterns
across batch, near-real-time, and streaming use cases (e.g.,
Kafka, Pub/Sub, Kinesis ).
Create reference architectures for
ActionIQ CDP
enablement, supporting audience segmentation, activation, and Next Best Action scenarios.
Integration & Activation
Partner with the
Integration Architect
to design
data flows
between:
Adobe AEM/Target
for personalization,
Salesforce Marketing Cloud
for messaging and automation,
Medallia
and
Sprinklr
for VoC/social listening,
Google Analytics
for behavioral analytics,
Future Loyalty Platform
for rewards and engagement.
Define
APIs and data contracts
to support cross-platform activation and analytics.
Analytics & BI
Provide the data architecture for
Domo
dashboards and reporting, enabling unified KPIs across campaigns, promotions, and media spend.
Support transition to
Sigma
for self-service BI and advanced analytics.
Required Skills & Experience
8+ years
of experience in
data architecture, data engineering, or enterprise architecture .
Proven expertise in
Snowflake
or other cloud-native data platforms (BigQuery, Redshift, Databricks).
Strong background in
data modeling ,
MDM (Informatica, Reltio, or similar) , and
identity resolution .
Hands-on experience integrating with
CDPs
(ActionIQ, Adobe RT-CDP, Segment, mParticle) and
MarTech platforms
(Adobe, Salesforce Marketing Cloud).
Advanced skills in
SQL ,
ETL/ELT pipelines ,
data APIs , and
streaming technologies
(Kafka, Kinesis, Pub/Sub).
Experience designing and deploying
data solutions on cloud platforms (preferably Google Cloud Platform / GCP) , including services for data storage, processing, and analytics.
Experience with
Cognity AI app .
Solid understanding of
data privacy regulations
and consent/opt-in management.
Preferred Qualifications
Certifications in
Snowflake ,
AWS/GCP/Azure data services , or
ActionIQ CDP .
Experience with
tag management data layers
(GTM, Adobe Launch) and web/mobile analytics instrumentation.
Prior consulting or digital agency experience in
MarTech or enterprise marketing data
transformations.
Soft Skills
Ability to
translate marketing requirements into scalable data solutions
and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Strong leadership in
discovery phases , with experience creating
architecture blueprints, roadmaps, and migration strategies .
Balance of
strategic vision
and
hands-on technical expertise .
Compensation, Benefits and Duration
Minimum Compensation: USD 52,000 Maximum Compensation: USD 182,000 Compensation is based on actual experience and qualifications of the candidate. The above is a reasonable and a good faith estimate for the role. Medical, vision, and dental benefits, 401k retirement plan, variable pay/incentives, paid time off, and paid holidays are available for full time employees.
