Runwise is looking for a
Director of Sales
to manage our growth in New York City and the greater Tri State Area. This person will lead a team of Account Executives and Business Development professionals toward exceeding sales targets. Day to day responsibilities include leading funnel reviews, team standups, trainings, and key deal support. The role also involves aggregating opportunities and challenges faced by the team and formulating broader company initiatives to sustain growth. Runwise (www.runwise.com) is a fast-paced, customer-focused climate-tech startup that controls and runs key energy systems (heating, water, etc.) in 10,000+ buildings across the US. Runwise’s hardware and software service significantly reduces energy usage, lowers costs, and reduces carbon output. Our technology is currently removing the equivalent of 100,000 cars worth of carbon emissions from the road each year. Responsibilities
Drive maximum revenue from our Tri-State area sellers Run weekly funnel reviews and deal strategy sessions Organize and run monthly initiatives to maximize the team’s probability of exceeding goals Collaborate cross-functionally with partnerships, marketing and operations to ensure deal volume and velocity Maintain visibility on key metrics (deal flow, win rate, deal size, deal speed) and develop proactive gap plans to address drop-offs Who you are
5+ years of quota-carrying sales experience and 2+ years in a managerial or team-lead role; proven ability to beat targets Ability to motivate a team and craft plans for reps to exceed numbers and grow professionally Strong consultative selling skills and ability to partner with reps on deal strategy Ideally has real estate industry experience and a deep network Skilled with CRM software, preferably Salesforce Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Salary
On Target Earnings of
$250,000 - $300,000
