Director of Sales

at our Cedarhurst of Springfield IL community. As a Director of Sales, you will have the opportunity to connect with, and positively impact the lives of, our residents daily. You will be responsible for meeting and exceeding all occupancy and revenue goals by developing and implementing the community’s strategic sales plan, and you will be accountable for the entire sales process. Responsibilities

Focusing on revenue generating activities to support the operations of the community. Functioning as primary contact for phone inquiries and walk-in visitors to drive occupancy. Outreach to increase professional referrals. Discovering the needs of prospective residents and their families and identifying appropriate solutions (including potential moves to Assisted Living or Memory Care). Conducting follow-up activities to facilitate positive, trusting, and valuable relationships. Creating and cultivating productive relationships with other businesses and resources for senior adults to offer resources to prospects, receive referrals, and maintain these relationships. Documenting all planned and completed sales activities in a provided database in accordance with standards established by the support team. Collaborating with the Executive Director and area/regional sales teams to strategize and develop creative programs. Working with the Executive Director to help staff maximize opportunities for resident and family referrals and ensure inquiries are handled appropriately. Assisting the community in exploring strategic sales approaches during coaching sessions. Ensuring effective communication with residents’ families concerning residents’ care, wellbeing, and related updates. Working well with others, taking direction from management, and engaging in conflict intervention and resolution as needed. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree and 2-5 years of successful sales experience Demonstrated sales closing skills with a record of high occupancy results. CPR or BLS certification preferred. Proficiency in Internet browsers (e.g., Chrome, Edge), Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, Publisher), electronic health records (EHR) systems, and any HR-related systems if applicable.
