Overview

Responsible for retail mortgage division consisting of mortgage production teams across distributed geography. Management responsibilities include strategic leadership, staffing, coaching and developing retail sales leaders to maximize team effectiveness and market opportunity in terms of loan volume production, profitability, and discretionary expense management. Leverage internal and external marketing expertise to develop and execute on internal and external sales leads, while providing superior client service quality. Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Achieve budgeted financial goals in loan volume production, net contribution/profitability, and discretionary expense management within the retail division. Develop, communicate, and execute strategic mortgage growth plan for retail division aligned with Truist Mortgage strategies, policies, systems, and processes, leveraging Marketing initiatives. Manage human resources to optimize utilization and productivity per FTE, recruit and onboard talent, minimize attrition, and improve teammate engagement. Ensure MLO Performance Management is monitored and executed; achieve Hiring & Growth Goals within retail division with focus in targeted growth segments. Ensure division executes sales leadership and business development models, a defined production sales week, with leadership visibility and engagement in regions and markets. Collaborate with Truist senior leadership across lines of business to maximize mortgage opportunities and execute IRM strategies with key partners including Community Bank and Wealth. Leverage internal and external marketing to develop and execute on internal and external sales leads while maintaining high client service quality. Lead divisional affordable housing efforts in conjunction with CRA, Strategic Growth, and Fair Lending teams; coach sales teams to serve low-to-moderate markets and clients. Support achievement of Truist Mortgage and Originations goals by communicating Mortgage Lending strategy, policies and procedures to clients, teammates, and internal/external referral sources; ensure adherence to policies and procedures including government regulations, secondary market requirements, compliance, quality control, and Digital Advertising and Marketing requirements. Provide knowledge of local and national real estate market conditions, mortgage product and process trends, and market opportunities; offer feedback and solutions regarding mortgage lending delivery capabilities. Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree, or equivalent education and related experience 12+ years of experience in the mortgage industry and/or financial services field 5+ years of managerial experience Strong understanding of mortgage lending and product lines Proven ability to manage production sales leaders and loan officers, address fulfillment productivity with operations teammates, and maintain internal and external referral sources Proven ability to recruit and retain productive and engaged teammates Preferred Qualifications:
