Marketing & Sales Director

to lead our marketing and enrollment strategies. This role requires a seasoned higher education professional who excels in

strategic oversight, agency management, and data-driven decision making

. The Director will not directly execute campaigns, but instead will be responsible for

leading strategy, managing agencies, and ensuring accountability for results

.

Key Responsibilities Lead the development of comprehensive marketing strategies across all platforms (digital, social, print, events, and emerging channels).

Manage all external agencies responsible for campaign execution—including digital advertising, social media, and creative content.

Actively evaluate current agencies, ensuring accountability for performance, ROI, and lead generation outcomes.

Identify, vet, and onboard new agencies or vendors as needed to strengthen marketing capabilities.

Ensure all marketing activity is aligned with institutional goals and brand standards.

Design and oversee strategies focused on generating qualified student leads and growing applications.

Partner with agencies to build, monitor, and optimize lead generation funnels.

Collaborate with admissions teams to ensure seamless lead handoff, tracking, and conversion.

Develop innovative strategies for prospective student engagement, nurturing leads from inquiry to enrollment.

Analytics & Performance Oversight Own the measurement and reporting of all marketing activities, focusing on lead sources, conversion rates, and campaign ROI.

Use geo-demographic and market segmentation analysis to guide targeting strategies.

Monitor and analyze CRM data, providing actionable insights that inform decision-making.

Prepare regular reports for leadership, clearly communicating performance trends, outcomes, and recommendations.

Sales & Revenue Strategy Develop sales strategies that directly support enrollment goals.

Align marketing and sales activities to maximize student recruitment results.

Oversee marketing and advertising budgets, ensuring efficient allocation and measurable returns.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field (Master’s preferred).

Minimum 5–7 years of proven experience in marketing and sales within the higher education sector.

Strong background in agency management , with a track record of holding external vendors accountable for performance.

Deep understanding of paid digital campaigns (Google Ads, Instagram, TikTok, Meta Ads, etc.), including how to oversee and evaluate agency-led execution.

Demonstrated success in lead generation and enrollment-focused marketing strategies.

Advanced skills in analytics, CRM systems, and budget performance management.

Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
