As a Commodities Solutions Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for engaging North American clients across our existing segment
and
for actively hunting and growing new business to achieve revenue targets. You will collaborate with Account Managers to deliver the full suite of LSEG Commodities products, focusing on front office workflow solutions (desktop terminal) - LSEG Workspace. You will lead engagements with various customer types (Hedge Funds, Banks, Asset Managers, Corporations) within your territory and work closely with internal partners to drive gross sales and revenue. You are responsible for developing your own opportunities and for growth within your territory. The Commodity business at LSEG offers solutions across the broader Commodity ecosystem. This role reports to the Director Trading Sales (FICC) in the Americas and is part of the team dedicated to engaging customers and communicating the value of the London Stock Exchange Group. Role Responsibilities Structure, negotiate, and close deals.
Excelling in advancing opportunities through sales stages, exceeding close rate expectations by anticipating obstacles and delays, and managing administrative tasks such as proposals and Salesforce activities efficiently. Build and develop strong internal relationships
with Account Managers and key partners. Develop the territory sales strategy
to identify opportunities and meet sales targets. Seek new business and product sales through account acquisition and penetration of new buyer hubs. Conduct high-efficiency prospecting ; collaborate with lead-generation and account management teams to ensure continuous coverage of expansion opportunities. Provide Commodity insights and thought leadership : Build customer confidence through domain expertise, industry trend knowledge, and leveraging network connections to unlock opportunities. Deliver customer demonstrations
of Commodity products, thinking through customer workflows to propose solutions that enhance contract value. Qualifications and Experience 5+ years of industry, sales, or market experience selling desktop/fintech workflow solutions. Proven sales track record in a quota-bearing environment. Deep understanding of financial markets, especially Commodities, and customer workflows. Strong consultative selling and relationship skills. Creative thinker with sales ideation skills. Excellent verbal and written presentation skills. Strong listening and organizational skills. Executive presence and ability to travel (30-40%). Education Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred. Compensation/Benefits LSEG offers competitive salary ranges ($111,300 - $185,500) depending on location and experience, plus variable incentive compensation.
