About the Role
As an Account Executive at Augment Code, you'll be a key player in driving our growth by delivering measurable business value to our customers. You'll work closely with prospective customers to understand their pain points, quantify their challenges, and demonstrate how Augment Code can make their development teams more productive. Following a structured qualification methodology, you'll help customers navigate from curiosity to committed users while building long-term trusted relationships. What You'll Do
Own and manage the full sales cycle — from initial discovery and pain identification to quantification, negotiation, and close Execute a disciplined, measurable sales process with clear qualification criteria at each stage Identify and develop Champions within prospect organizations who can advocate for our solution Partner with product and engineering teams to understand how our solutions solve specific customer pain points Build strong relationships with prospects and customers Manage pipeline and forecasting with accuracy and data-driven insights What We're Looking For
2+ years of closing experience in SaaS sales, preferably in a technical or developer-focused product space A consultative, curious approach to discovery with the ability to identify, quantify, and implicate customer pain Strong aptitude for building and leveraging Champions within customer organizations Excellent business acumen and ability to translate technical concepts into business value for different audiences Coachability and adaptability to continuously improve your skills Strong integrity and character A bias toward action, experimentation, and continuous learning Comfortable operating in fast-moving, early-stage environments A track record of meeting & exceeding quota Bonus Points For
Experience with or knowledge of MEDDIC/MEDDPICC qualification methodology Experience selling products in the AI, developer tools, or productivity software space Familiarity with modern software development workflows and tools Technical aptitude — you don't need to code, but you're excited to sell to those who do Why Augment Code
