sunday is a FinTech startup in the restaurant space changing how payments are made in restaurants. We are growing quickly and aiming to save millions of people minutes at the end of their meals with a simple QR code scan. The Role

The Senior Account Executive leverages sales skills to expand the number of restaurants working with sunday. The role requires being natural at selling, having knowledge of the Chicago restaurant scene, and enjoying negotiating and building partnerships. Your primary focus will be acquiring new SMB and Mid-Market restaurant groups that meet our partnership criteria and driving processes to set up partnerships for success. This job is based in Chicago. Key Responsibilities

Leverage prospecting skills and relationships to build pipeline and establish partnerships with SMB and Mid-Market restaurant groups that are ideal use cases for sunday. Rely on existing relationships and prospecting skills to secure meetings with decision makers at target restaurants; conduct meetings in person, over the phone, or via video as needed. Manage negotiations and relationships to establish a strong, mutually beneficial partnership with restaurant partners. Clearly communicate the value of sunday and its products and projects. Help craft and redesign processes to ensure sunday can move quickly and scale. About You

Approximately 4 years of field sales experience in a high-growth/fast-paced company. Restaurant-centric, consultative sales approach. Enthusiasm for being in the field with restaurants in Chicago. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, stay organized, and be a team player. Up-to-date on latest restaurant industry trends; able to articulate trends clearly and confidently. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. Ability to multitask while managing priorities efficiently. Proficient in Microsoft Office; knowledge of Salesforce or similar CRM a plus. Experience selling into hospitality a plus; ability to manage full sales cycle across multiple deals and stages. Knowledge of payments (particularly payment processing), food tech, and hospitality industries, especially in Chicago. Compensation, Perks & Benefits
