Maintenance Engineer - Signia by Hilton San Jose (HOT0BX8P) Work location: Signia By Hilton San Jose, 170 S. Market Street, San Jose 95113. The hotel features 541 rooms, 14 meeting rooms and 55,000 square feet of event space. Shift Pattern: PM Overnight. Pay Rate: $64.83 per hour. Responsibilities
Maintain the physical functionality and safety of the facility, including guest rooms, public space, and heart-of-house areas. Respond to guest calls and team member work orders in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner to assess and repair non-functioning machinery and/or equipment. Perform a variety of repair and maintenance tasks including carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, painting, HVAC, and masonry. Conduct inspections for preventive maintenance needs. Record and report completed repairs and items that require further attention. Qualifications
Hands-on building maintenance experience. Able to operate hand and power tools. Ability to troubleshoot/diagnose independently. 4 years direct hotel/building maintenance knowledge. What we offer
