What You’ll Do
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of avionics and mission systems within aircraft. Create and modify 3D CAD models and 2D drawings for secondary structures and system components. Large assembly model management. Conduct simulations and analyses to validate designs against performance requirements and regulatory standards (hand calculations and FEA). Build prototypes, analyze failures, and transition successful projects into production Lead design reviews, run analysis, visit vendors, define and execute hardware test plans Support critical hardware demonstrations with customers as needed Travel to test sites as needed Required Qualifications
B.S. in Aerospace Engineering or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience 3+ years experience in aircraft systems integration Siemens NX proficiency Excellent communication and team skills Familiarity with aircraft and military standards Eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret Clearance Preferred Qualifications
5+ years experience PLM experience (Teamcenter, Windchill) Active Top secret DoD clearance Unmanned Air Vehicle design experience Salary and Benefits
US Salary Range: 120,000 — 213,000 USD The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations.
