We’re hiring a Construction Project Manager in Washington, DC. This role supports the execution of new store build-outs and renovations from design through opening, ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and in alignment with brand standards. The ideal candidate will understand construction processes, be creative in problem-solving, and anticipate and resolve challenges before they arise. Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day coordination for multiple store construction projects
Oversee construction schedules, budgets, and deliverables to ensure successful openings
Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, landlords, and internal teams
Review drawings, specifications, and shop drawings to ensure compliance with CYM standards
Conduct site visits to monitor progress, quality, and adherence to schedule
Prepare and maintain project documentation including schedules, budgets, and status reports
Assist with permitting, approvals, and inspections
Identify risks early and propose solutions to keep projects on track
Support the VP of Construction & Development with strategic initiatives and special projects
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field preferred
2-4 years of experience in project or construction management (hospitality or restaurant experience, with knowledge of kitchen design preferred)
Knowledge of construction processes, drawings, and permitting
Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and projects simultaneously
Proficiency with project management tools (Monday/Asana) and AutoCAD/Revit
Ability to travel to project sites as needed
