Overview
We are seeking a skilled Commissioning Professional to join our team. You’ll ensure building systems ( mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, automation, and building enclosure ) meet project requirements through inspections, testing, and collaboration with project teams.
Base pay Base pay range:
$100,000.00/yr - $120,000.00/yr
Responsibilities • Ensure commissioning of building systems meets project requirements through inspections and testing.
• Collaborate with project teams to validate system performance and documentation.
• Coordinate with contractors and vendors to resolve issues identified during commissioning.
• Prepare and maintain commissioning reports and close-out documentation.
What You Bring
Certification/Licensure:
Certified Commissioning Professional or Licensed Engineer required.
Technical Background:
Experience in one or more of the following areas: mechanical systems, electrical power, plumbing, fire protection, or building enclosure.
Field Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of commissioning or relevant field experience
Problem-Solving:
Strong analytical skills to identify issues and implement effective solutions.
Communication:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to write professional, concise technical reports.
Tech Savvy:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, commissioning software, and construction management tools.
Physical Ability:
Comfortable navigating active construction sites (e.g., walking, climbing ladders, using lifts as needed).
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, architecture, or a related field.
Experience with LEED or other sustainability certification processes.
Familiarity with IBC, ASHRAE, NFPA, and other relevant industry standards and codes.
