Our client, ZIEHL-ABEGG, Inc. is the world leader in the field of ventilation, control, and drive technology, supplying its first-class products into industries such as agriculture, automotive, medical, energy, and many more. For further growth and expansion, ZIEHL-ABEGG is looking for a high-energy and results-oriented Senior Technical Sales Representative who will drive and expand the company’s presence in the Midwest territory. In this role, you will lead sales strategy, act as the primary point of contact for key accounts, and develop new business opportunities across multiple business units. KEY responsibilities Playing an integral role in new business pitches and holding responsibility for the effective onboarding of new clients Account for sales revenue in the U.S. market Identify business opportunities and set business direction Focusing on developing existing key accounts and gaining new customers Develop and grow business with HVAC OEMs, chiller manufacturers, datacenter clients, etc Write business plans/sales forecasts for all current and opportunity businesses Act as the key interface between the customer and all relevant divisions Achieve the assigned sales, marketing, and technical service goals Explore and develop new applications with existing key accounts Provide monthly & weekly reports with comments on sales activities Present quarterly & annual customer sales budgets Responsible for managing and updating all sales inquiries in Microsoft Dynamics 365, including sales opportunities, customer visits, inquiries, NDAs, and all aspects of the sales cycle Develop and manage sales opportunities from initial design through production, commissioning, quality, and delivery, in collaboration with the team members Provide operational & commercial feedback based on the customer interface Coordinate & participate in trade shows as assigned Contribute to the optimization of inventory & inventory turns by managing demands with key accounts Developing a solid and trusting relationship between major key clients and the company Resolving key client issues and complaints Developing a complete understanding of key account needs Anticipating key account changes and improvements Managing communications between key clients and internal teams OFFER An opportunity to develop your career in key account management with a growing company You will be selling high-quality products in a futuristic industry A stable and secure employer Career advancement opportunities and training opportunities Candidate profile Bachelor’s Degree in a business discipline preferred 5+ years of work experience in sales HVAC/ventilation industry background is a must Strong market sensitivity, good business sense, as well as communication and negotiation skills Excellent presentation skills, persuasiveness, organizational skills, multitasking, flexibility, and problem-solving skills Proficient with MS Office & ERP system Willingness to travel 40–50% within the designated territory in North America, with the possibility of travel to other regions in North America and occasionally internationally
