PDF Solutions Inc is seeking a
Senior FieldApplications Engineer
which will serves as the primary contact for end-users of the software. End users of the Exensio client software are typically Yield, Product, Process and Defect Engineers. Responsibilities
Support Exensio product pre-sales demo, pilot try run project and real project deployment for new and existing clients. Tasks include design, architect and ensure specification completeness in agreement with end customer. Partner with the PDF Marketing Group to define requirements for Exensio product development. Partner with PDF Software Development to drive and test software development activities. Provide advanced applications engineering support for leading edge customers. Specific responsibilities include: Work with customers to identify and solve yield problems using Exensio. Support Exensio customers to determine their analysis and reporting needs. Create detailed Software Requirements Specifications to describe new functionality and user interfaces. Develop case studies and prepare training material based on customer data. Perform Exensio training for the end user community. Create and present software demonstrations at seminars and for potential customers. Build and execute project plans for all of the above activities. Qualifications
Semiconductor Yield, Product, Process or Defect Engineering background. Experience in project execution, ability to manage and support multiple projects at the same time, and drive customer to the project right direction. Strong statistical analytic skills of semiconductor data using a Yield Management System (Exensio, Qualterra, Optimal Plus, Klarity-ACE, Yield Explorer, YDI Genesis, Data Conductor, etc.) or a Statistical software package (JMP, Splus, SAS, Tableau etc.). Teaching or training experience. Excellent oral and written communications skills. Highly professional, self-motivated and self-managed individual Travel required Education
MS or PhD in EE, Physics, Chem. E, IE, Computer, Statistics. Desired Qualifications
Previous experience with PDF datapower or Maestria tools or Tibco Spotfire is highly desired. Semiconductor Yield/Product Analysis and Report creation skills. Knowledge of advanced statistical techniques (Regression, DOE, data mining, etc.). Software programming experience, prefer scripting languages (Unix Shell, R, Python, JAVA, .NET, etc.) Relational database knowledge (Oracle). Pay Range: CNY ¥350,000.00 - CNY ¥550,000.00 /Yr.
