PDF Solutions Inc is seeking a
Field Applications Engineer
to join the field team to work on PDF’s e-beam inspection tool used for enhancing yield in state-of-art 300mm semiconductor fabs. The Applications Engineer must be an organized and highly motivated team player with strong initiative and communication skills and possesses the drive to deliver quality results on time in a dynamic, multi-discipline, intensive and highly productive small team environment. Responsibilities
Work in 300 mm fabs and setup inspection recipes on eProbe series (PDF’s innovative e-beam tools). Drive wafer inspection to reduce yield loss on some of the world's most advanced ICs. Oversee the data pipeline from measurement to data analysis; monitor tool readout quality Perform R&D experiments for improving and optimizing recipes for increasing signals, reducing noises or improving throughputs Qualifications
Job Requirements: Minimum Master's degree or minimum 2 years of field experience Degree in Electrical Engineering, Applied Physics, Materials Science or similar engineering field Experience working with inspection tools, including optical, voltage-contract or spectroscopy Ability to work in production environment and respond to customer promptly requests with high standard results Preferred Skills: Experience in semiconductor industry (preferably sub-20nm FIN-fet technology) Statistical data analysis in NumPy, JMP, Tableau, or MATLAB Python or other programming experience (Java, C#, C++, Ruby, Perl, etc.) Ability to interact with RD teams of different disciplines to resolve issues or drive improvement Pay Range
