The multi-billion-dollar Pearl Harbor Dry Dock Replacement project is one of the most significant infrastructure programs in Hawaiʻi and the Pacific. We are seeking Field Engineers to support marine and heavy civil foundation scopes, including piers, wharfs, bulkheads, cofferdams, pile driving, shoring, dewatering, excavation, and structural concrete. This role offers an excellent opportunity for an early-career engineer to gain hands-on experience on a complex federal project that directly supports naval readiness and national defense. What You’ll Do

Provide daily field support to superintendents and senior project engineers. Assist with shop drawings, submittals, and RFIs for marine and foundation scopes. Track and document QC testing results (concrete breaks, coatings, pile logs, and inspections) under NAVFAC and three-phase QC protocols. Monitor subcontractor performance, track production, and prepare daily field reports. Support coordination with divers, inspectors, and environmental monitors. Assist with scheduling, sequencing, equipment, and material tracking. Provide technical support for pile driving, excavation, shoring, and concrete pours. Maintain accurate safety and compliance records in line with EM 385-1-1 and federal standards. Spend the majority of time in the field, supporting marine and foundation crews. Uphold strict compliance with federal safety standards (OSHA/EM 385-1-1) and environmental requirements. Develop working knowledge of NAVFAC specifications and three-phase QC processes. Deliver timely, accurate documentation for Navy inspectors and compliance teams. Demonstrate initiative, adaptability, and eagerness to learn from senior leadership. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural, or Marine Engineering, or Construction Management. 1–4 years of construction or internship experience, ideally in marine, heavy civil, or foundation work. Familiarity with pile driving, shoring, cofferdams, dewatering, or marine concrete a plus. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office; Bluebeam experience preferred. Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Must be eligible for base access to work on secure federal facilities. Why This Role?
