Pear About Pear VC

Pear VC is an early-stage venture capital firm that works with founders at the very beginning—before there’s a team, before there’s revenue, sometimes even before there’s a product. We’ve partnered with 10+ companies we’ve founded ourselves, and backed startups now worth over

$50B

- including

7 unicorns

and

3 public companies

in just 9 years. Our team is made up of former founders and operators who know what it takes to go from

idea → product → company . Why This Fellowship is Different

This is not a traditional “internship.” As our

engineering fellow , you’ll be building tools, automations, and products that will be used by: Our portfolio founders

- helping them launch, grow, and scale faster. Our investment and platform teams

- making them more effective in supporting startups. You’ll work side-by-side with early-stage founders, see how different startups operate, and understand the challenges they face. This is a chance to see the startup journey

up close

- and to decide if building your own company might be in your future. What You’ll Do
