AECOM is hosting an exclusive, invitation-only hiring event in New York, New York October 15-17.

This is a great opportunity to learn and connect with AECOM for career opportunities starting Spring/Summer 2026.

The event kicks off on Wednesday evening with a networking mixer from 6-8 pm

, where you can hear from AECOM staff about various projects, career paths, and the company itself. You’ll also have the chance to meet other students, recent graduates, and AECOM professionals from across our business lines.

On Thursday and Friday, interviews will take place at our New York office.

This is a fantastic opportunity to learn about and connect with AECOM for early career opportunities.

AECOM

is actively seeking a bright and highly motivated

Entry-Level Security Engineer

for employment in our Transportation Business Line based out of our

New York, NY

office.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

Work with system engineers and other domain experts to design CCTV, access control and intrusion detection systems along with their associated networks.

Work with internal and external engineering teams.

Engage in ongoing learning and information sharing efforts with other engineering professionals at AECOM to grow the team’s knowledge base and capabilities.

Under the guidance of a senior engineer develop system drawings, plans, details and specifications.

Qualifications: Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Communications Engineering, Systems Engineering or other relevant major OR demonstrated equivalency of experience &/or education

Demonstrated experience with systems or network design

Experience with AutoCAD PlanGrid, ProjectWise and Bluebeam

Valid US Driver’s License

Must be a US Citizen due to the nature of the work

Preferred Qualifications:

Demonstrated experience working with systems or network design

Experience with AutoCAD PlanGrid, ProjectWise and Bluebeam

Direct experience with, or working knowledge of: Networks, Security Systems, (CCTV or Access Control), or Network based communication systems.

Relocation assistance is not available for this position.

This position requires a hybrid work schedule which includes in office work in New York, NY. The selected candidate must be available to work in New York, NY on a scheduled basis.
