About the Job
CDS Logistics & Home Services is seeking a dynamic professional to provide strong administrative support to our Baltimore Delivery Operations. The Operations Administrator will be responsible for providing administrative support to all aspects of daily final mile logistics operations reporting directly to the Facility Manager. Our primary goal is to ensure excellent operational standards are met and to maintain high customer satisfaction throughout all operations.
Operations Administrator
In this role you will handle the coordination and flow of all office related activities for the Operations and Customer Service Department. This position is critical in providing administrative support to operational activities such as answering and making phone calls, sending and responding to e-mails, processing paperwork, data entry for reporting, copying paperwork, handling inbound appointment scheduling, collecting inbound paperwork and overall assisting in anything office or administrative related to business operations. Success within this role is heavily dependent on attention to detail, urgency, computer literacy (specifically for Microsoft Suite products), and strong communication skills. This position will execute job duties in an office and warehouse environment. A successful applicant will be able to: Perform quality work within deadlines Interact and communicate professionally with internal and external customer groups Prioritize daily tasks in consideration to Organizational Strategic Goals Work independently while understanding the necessity for communicating and coordinating efforts with other employees and external customers Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks
Provide administrative support for the customer service and dispatch department supporting the Logistics business. Matching paperwork for daily manifests for deliveries and ensuring it gets to the warehouse department for pulling and staging of runs. Enter and retrieve information using computer systems and applications to update records, obtain information for others and respond to most questions and problems of internal and external clients. Provide directions for daily manifests - through pulling information from builder websites as well as provide phone-based support for drivers on the road completing daily deliveries. Spearhead setting up and facilitating interviewing and new hire activities for the facility. Complete ordering of facility supplies. Ensure that all communal spaces of the facility are maintained in a Customer ready state as well as ensuring proper stocking of communal areas. Utilize and maintain databases and spreadsheets using internal systems. Assist team members in their daily work activities as required. Carry out special projects as assigned. All other duties as assigned. Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent required. 1-3 years Administrative or Customer Service experience in logistics industry Preferred Qualifications:
Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred. 3 years of experience in customer service/admin position in logistics industry, ideally last mile. Work Environment
