Ultimate Staffing Services is excited to announce an opening for a Logistics & Warehouse Administrator position in Maryland. This role offers a fantastic opportunity for individuals seeking to start or grow their career in logistics. The Logistics Administrator will be integral in supporting the operations of a bustling warehouse, providing essential administrative support for 3PL operations. This is a full-time, 100% onsite position located just east of Baltimore. Responsibilities
Process customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, and requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, distributed, and shipped. Assist with warehouse and inventory related duties. Record amounts of materials and items received or distributed via the appropriate computer program. Maintain an adequate supply of shipping materials, coordinating with department personnel for order requests. Arrange for pick-up by the carrier specified on the customer's purchase request. Provide client-specific departmental process requirements, such as inspections, cycle counts, and warehouse management system updates. Collaborate with inventory control to ensure all tasks are completed and special requests are managed. Contribute to a positive work environment and demonstrate a willingness to learn new systems and processes. Handle additional tasks or activities as requested by management. Qualifications Preferred experience with small parcel logistics; familiarity with FedEx/UPS is advantageous. Proficiency in MS Office, data entry, and customer service. Ability to handle a high volume of work, including some light lifting under 30 lbs. Must pass a background check; no theft or violence offenses. Strong communication and organizational skills. Required Work Hours
Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, with occasional overtime as required.
Additional Details
The hourly rate for this position is $18/ hour. This position is an excellent stepping stone into the logistics industry, offering valuable experience and opportunities for growth. The Logistics Administrator will spend most of the day in the warehouse, working at the shipping desk or assisting with dock management.
