We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant with a strong background in government contracting and Costpoint. This role is ideal for a candidate with strong tenure in previous roles and a solid understanding of project accounting and compliance in a government contracting environment.
Key Responsibilities: Perform budget and revenue analysis for assigned projects Maintain project tracking and support project managers with financial insight Prepare incurred cost submissions in compliance with government regulations Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting Assist with audit preparation, including DCAA and other compliance audits Ensure accurate recording and reporting of project financials in Costpoint Collaborate cross-functionally to maintain data integrity and financial accuracy Requirements:
Costpoint experience is required Strong tenure in previous roles is a must Minimum 5 years of experience in government contracting accounting/finance Solid understanding of project cost accounting, budgeting, and reporting Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication skills and attention to detail Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required Experience preparing incurred cost submissions a plus Familiarity with DCAA audits and compliance standards a plus
