Continental Finance Company specializes in credit card options for consumers with less than perfect credit. We are seeking a Direct Mail Manager to support our Marketing team. We are seeking a data-driven and highly organized Direct Mail Manager to lead the strategy and execution of our credit card acquisition and customer management direct mail programs. This role is responsible for overseeing the entire direct mail campaign lifecycle, from audience segmentation and creative development to print production, postal optimization, and performance analysis. The ideal candidate has deep expertise in direct marketing within the financial services industry and a proven track record of managing high-volume, multi-variant campaigns that drive measurable results. Responsibilities
Campaign Strategy and Execution: Develop and implement data-driven direct mail strategies for credit card acquisition, cross-selling, and customer retention. This includes managing the day-to-day execution of campaigns from initial concept through deployment. Data and Analytics: Collaborate with analytics teams to define targeting criteria, develop audience segmentation, and utilize data to inform campaign decisions. Analyze campaign performance, track key metrics, and provide insights to optimize future mailings. Creative and Production Management: Oversee the development of all direct mail creative, working with internal and external creative agencies. Manage the entire print production process, including vendor management, print quality assurance, and adherence to production timelines and budgets. Compliance and Risk Management: Partner closely with Legal, Compliance, and Risk teams to ensure all direct mail materials meet regulatory standards and company policies, including data privacy and offer disclosures. Budget Oversight: Develop and manage campaign budgets, identify cost-saving opportunities, and monitor spending to ensure efficient and effective allocation of resources. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as the direct mail subject matter expert, collaborating with internal stakeholders across Marketing, Operations, Finance, Data Science, and Technology. Vendor Management: Manage and maintain relationships with third-party vendors, including print suppliers, data providers, and lettershops, negotiating contracts and ensuring adherence to SLAs. Testing and Innovation: Develop and execute thoughtful testing roadmaps to continuously improve response rates and drive efficient growth. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field preferred. 5+ years of experience in direct marketing, with at least 3 years focused specifically on managing direct mail campaigns. Proven experience working within the credit card or financial services industry is strongly preferred. Demonstrated knowledge of print production processes, postal regulations, and variable data personalization. Exceptional project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple complex campaigns simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and lead cross-functional teams. Experience with regulatory and compliance requirements in a highly regulated industry.
