is seeking a talented

Principal Quality Analyst

to join our

Baltimore Logistics Center

located in

Baltimore, MD . What You'll Get to Do: Develop and implement program quality plans, programs, and procedures using statistical quality control statistics, lean manufacturing concepts, and six-sigma tools and analyses.

Ensures that performance and quality products conform to established company and regulatory standards.

Reviews, analyzes and reports on quality discrepancies related to assembly, process, mechanical, electrical and electro-mechanical systems.

Investigates problems and develops disposition and corrective actions for recurring discrepancies.

Interfaces with manufacturing, engineering, customer, vendor and subcontractor representatives to ensure requirements are met.

Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree with 5 years of experience supporting Quality in a manufacturing environment; Master's degree with 3 years of experience supporting Quality in a manufacturing environment; 9 years’ experience supporting Quality in a manufacturing environment may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office.

Intermediate skills with MS Excel.

Prior experience preparing and analyzing data and figures.

Experience working independently and meeting required deadlines.

Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret Level Security Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications: Process documentation.

Quality auditor experience.

Active U.S. Secret DoD security clearance.

Quality Management Systems auditing experience.

Technical writing experience.

Working knowledge of AS9100.

Working knowledge of Tableau dashboard.

Salary Range:

$87,000 - $130,600 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
