Audit & Accounts Senior Braintree £36,000 - £42,000 (Dependent on Experience) We are excited to collaborate with a reputable firm of chartered accountants in Braintree that is looking for an ACA/ACCA Qualified Audit & Accounts Senior to join their dynamic team. As an Audit & Accounts Senior, you will take on a varied role, gaining exposure to diverse clients across multiple sectors. Your responsibilities will include: preparing and reviewing accounts, managing tax compliance tasks, and leading audit assignments from planning through to completion. Engaging with clients and mentoring junior team members to support their growth. Candidate Requirements ACA or ACCA Qualified, or nearing qualification. Recent experience in a mixed audit and accounts role, particularly in leading audit assignments. Key Duties & Responsibilities Develop audit plans that address specific audit objectives. Actively participate in audit planning and fraud discussions. Supervise all aspects of audit fieldwork, ensuring completion according to plan. Mentor and develop junior staff. Prepare accounts for sole traders, limited companies, and partnerships. Skills Required ACA / ACCA Qualified or Finalist. Proven experience in leading audit assignments. Why Choose This Role?
