Finance & Controlling Immediately Full Time Permanent We are seeking an experienced and strategic Vice President Financial Accounting (all genders) to lead our accounting team of approximately 20 professionals. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the full spectrum of accounting operations, including financial reporting, internal controls, accounts receivable management, and the preparation of our local financial statements for nine legal entities. Minimum Qualifications
Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA, ACCA, or similar qualification is a strong plus. At least 8 years of professional experience in accounting or finance, with significant leadership experience. Profound knowledge of accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, HGB, or local GAAP) and internal control frameworks. Experience in managing accounting for a group of legal entities, preferably in a corporate or international setting. S trong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire and guide teams. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Fluency in English (written and spoken); German skills are an advantage. What you can expect
Lead, manage, and develop a high-performing accounting team of around 20 professionals . Ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards. Oversee the financial internal control system (Finance-ICS), ensuring compliance and continuous improvement. Manage the group-wide accounts receivable (AR) processes, including dunning & collections. C oordinate and supervise the accounting and financial reporting for a group of 9 legal entities , including intercompany reconciliations. Collaborate closely with internal and external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies. Drive process optimization and digitalization within the accounting function. Support strategic financial planning and business decisions by providing accurate and insightful financial analysis and reports.
