IT Technician to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. The ideal candidate willserve as a trusted advisor and technical authority, leadingtroubleshooting, installation, configuration, and optimizationof hardware, software, and networks. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain in-depth experience in federal contracting while supporting high-visibility aviation programs. In this position, you will: Provide technical supportfor installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT hardware and software. Oversee field activities, and ensure all IT systems are maintained to FAA and federal standardswhile supporting modernization across theNational Airspace System (NAS). Serve as theprimary SMEfor troubleshooting complex technical issues across enterprise environments. Overseenetwork connectivity, user support, and system integration activities. Develop and maintainstandard operating procedures, technical documentation, and best practices. Mentor and guide junior IT technicians, ensuring consistent service delivery. Supporthardware refresh, upgrades, and modernization initiatives. Ensure IT environments comply withFAA standards, cybersecurity policies, and federal regulations. Conductroot cause analysisand implement corrective/preventive actions for recurring issues. Provide on-site and remote support formulti-site FAA locations. Strong skills inbackup, recovery, and continuity-of-operations (COOP) support. Basic Qualifications: U.S. Citizenship Required. Must have the ability to obtain / maintain a Public Trust clearance. Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of experience or Masters degree and 6 years or or Associate’s degree and 10 years experience or HS diploma/equivalent and 14 years experience. Proven expertise in hardware and software installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance. Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN). Hands-on experience with operating systems (Windows, Linux, macOS) in enterprise environments. Familiarity with Active Directory, group policies, and user account management. Knowledge of endpoint security, patching, and vulnerability remediation. Experience with ticketing systems and ITSM processes (e.g., ServiceNow, Remedy). Preferred Qualifications : Direct FAA or NAS configuration management experience. Experience supportingfederal IT systems, preferably FAA, DOT, DHS, or DoD.

Certifications such asCompTIA Security+, A+, Network+, Microsoft MCSA/MCSE, or Cisco CCNA/CCNP.

Experience supportingFAA NextGen modernization programsor NAS-related IT environments.

Familiarity withcloud and virtualization technologies(AWS, Azure, VMware, Hyper-V).

Background inITIL service management frameworks.

Experience inaviation or safety-critical IT environments.

Familiarity withautomation tools or scripting(PowerShell, Bash, Python).

Target Salary Range $80,000 - $128,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
