Site Team Lead , you will work to ensure the implementation of positive youth development practices with all daily activities and interactions with children. The Site Team Lead is responsible for ensuring program quality, including assisting in implementing curriculum, providing leadership and guidance to staff, and overseeing the ordering and distribution of snacks, materials, and supplies needed to operate the program. They will also provide direct service when necessary to execute the program. Safe 'N Sound YMCA Before & After School programs throughout Naperville, Aurora, and North Aurora for the 2025-2026 school year! Position Responsibilities: Implement program curriculum with staff, ensuring compliance with DCFS and YMCA standards Provide guidance to staff onsite to maintain program quality Facilitate collaboration and lead staff meetings Enhance parent/guardian engagement and meet quality expectations Coordinate with local schools to align and execute activities Maintain and audit all program files per standards Assist in developing and executing special events and seasonal programs Participate in marketing and retention activities Fill in for other staff as needed Requirements & Preferred Qualifications: Must be 19+ years old and meet education/credential requirements Experience in childcare or education supporting high-quality programs Preferred: Associate’s degree in child development or early childhood education, or equivalent Ability to build positive relationships and serve as a role model Passion for the YMCA mission and working with diverse youth Excellent communication skills Meet physical qualifications as outlined Reasonable accommodations provided for disabilities Child Abuse Prevention: Report hazards and suspicious behavior Follow policies for child safety and supervision Complete required child abuse prevention training Qualifications & Behaviors
