Overview
Empower Youth: Lead with Passion and Purpose as a Full-Time Before & After-School Site Team Lead. As a Site Team Lead, you will work to ensure the implementation of positive youth development practices with all daily activities and interactions with children. The Site Team Lead is responsible for ensuring program quality including assisting in implementing curriculum, providing leadership and guidance to staff and overseeing the ordering and distribution of snacks, materials and all supplies needed to operate the program. They will also provide direct service, when necessary, to execute the program. This role supports meeting accreditation standards with extensive training and development in research-based practices, with the aim of positively impacting our children, families and communities. Responsibilities
Lead and mentor staff; engage directly with youth to promote positive youth development Assist in curriculum implementation and ensure program quality Oversee ordering and distribution of snacks, materials, and supplies required to operate the program Provide direct service when necessary to deliver program activities Participate in training and development to meet accreditation standards Qualifications
Age 19+ with experience in childcare, education, or youth leadership Strong communication skills and passion for youth development Ability to lead a team, coordinate programs, and support families Meet responsibilities and qualifications as outlined in the job description; the YMCA will provide reasonable accommodations for persons with disabilities Child Abuse Prevention
